Suitable for saloon and GT cars with appropriate mountings. Six strap body harness with six vehicle attachment points using snap hook and eye bolt mounting. All shoulder straps are 75mm wide. Lap straps are either 75mm wide or 50mm wide webbing with 75mm wide load spreader pad, crutch straps are 50mm wide with 25mm wide loop one end to be passed through the ‘D’ rings on the lap straps before passing the shoulder strap down through the loop prior to connecting into the release mechanism (see photo). All straps fully adjustable, 50mm lap straps using Willans own steel adjusters. 75mm lap straps and all shoulder straps use Willans own steel anti-creep adjuster for control of wearer straps. Crutch straps are adjustable for individual drivers using 3 bar locker. Crutch straps are designed to stop driver submarining through the harness in high ‘g’ decelerations. A Willans aircraft type rotary multi-point quick release mechanism is used for central fastening. Shoulder and lap straps connect individually to the release mechanism, note, one lap strap is permanently fixed to either left-hand or right-hand lap strap so that when in unlocked position release mechanism falls to centre of the vehicle. Can be supplied with shoulder upper looped (click here for photo). Harness approved, in both 75mm shoulder and lap or 75mm shoulder and 50mm lap, to FIA standard 8853/98. Supplied with fitting instructions and eye bolts.
